The next hurdy-gurdy. European beech back and sides, spruce top, maple keybox. Pegbox top and keybox lid are mahogany inlaid with curly, almost quilted, alder. A friend of mine gave me the green alder fifteen years ago; it was headed for his mill’s burn pile. Good save. | |
