Good Horsey, detail of bridge. The .010" sympathetic strings run through a channel under the fingerboard, over an ebony bridge inlay. This instrument would be a good introduction to Hardanger fiddle (hardingfele), or anywhere you’d like to try out the Nature’s Reverb sound. Tuning is EADA, with many variants in use. I play Norwegian and Swedish folk tunes on it, but don’t feel limited by my limitations. Fine hurdy-gurdy accompaniment, by the way. | |
